Wining, Dining and Adventure: Koh Samui, Thailand

When picking out which Thai island to visit, it seemed like there were so many to choose from! After much research I finally decided on the cosmopolitan island of Koh Samui. Known for being family friendly, full of beautiful resorts and delicious restaurants, Koh Samui seemed to be the place to go. There is also an airport which is super convenient when you are traveling with an infant and don’t want to mess with ferries. We loved it!

Ben’s nanny for the trip: Jumy. She was trustworthy, communicative, thorough and overall great with Ben! He loved her and we loved a little time to go out to explore without him being bored and hot. She cried on her last day 🙂

So fancy… a place we never are able to go with a baby 😀

View from The Cliff…

The Larder: seriously some of the best food and cocktails I have had in my life.

Ark Bar: fun bar on the beach with a young crowd and party music… a place that was probably too cool for us.

Lady Boy show at Starz Cabaret: When in Thailand, you have to see a lady boy show! It was PG rated, no dongs were seen. They lip sung and did celebrity impressions. They looked pretty damn good for some men. Very entertaining.

Speed boat to Ang Thong National Park was absolutely beautiful. The beaches were abandoned. It looked like it was straight out of The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio 😀 We snorkeled and went kayaking to an empty forgotten beach and explored the caves.
